About
The story of Lake Minnewashta's waterski family
“Our mission is to bring the Lake Minnewashta community together through waterski shows, youth development, and patriotic celebrations on the lake.
Our Story
The Lake Minnewashta Water Ski Club started as a group of neighbors who loved getting on the water. What began as casual skiing sessions grew into organized shows that brought the whole community to the lakeshore.
In 2026, we officially registered the ski club as a nonprofit organization with a clear purpose: keep our community shows free, teach the next generation to waterski, and create the best 4th of July celebration on any lake in Minnesota.
Today, our team includes all types of skiers, from kids learning their first dock starts to experienced show skiers building pyramids. Whether you're a skier, volunteer or spectator on the shore, join us in celebrating the Minnewashta community.
What We Do

Community Events
